Job summary

Zebra Technologies in Wisconsin is seeking a Configuration Associate I to produce high-quality products per procedures within standard labor hours. You will set up and perform assembly operations for a defined product family while maintaining quality standards and meeting delivery deadlines.

This role supports other functions as needed, with opportunities to learn in a collaborative, safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• No work experience required.
• Ability to perform tasks per procedural documentation and training.

Responsibilities

• Meet quality goals and on-time delivery for assigned jobs.
• Perform assembly operations from procedures within standard labor hours.
• Visually inspect configuration products for damage and missing parts.
• Test configuration products using PC-based test systems.
• Record inspection results in the configuration order tracking system.
• Prepare and clean products prior to shipment.

What We're Looking For

The Configuration Associate I is responsible for the production of high-quality products per procedures/specifications within the standard labor hours. The incumbent will be responsible for set up and perform assigned assembly operations within specific target product family while meeting quality standards. The incumbent will provide back-up support for other functions within this job description as personnel requirements dictate.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Responsible for meeting Quality goals and on time delivery associated with respective jobs.
• The ability and understanding to perform process operations from procedural documentation and training within standard labor hours.
• Perform visual inspection of Configuration product for physical damage and missing parts.
• Ability to test Configuration product using a PC based test system.
• Record inspection results via PC-based Configuration order tracking system.
• Prep and clean Configuration product prior to shipment in accordance to established standards.
• Associate needs to be punctual. Can be depended on to handle his /her normal work functions.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Maintain ISO 9001 readiness.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Incentive Compensation

In addition to base pay, Zebra offers this role the opportunity to earn a performance-based annual cash incentive, at a target equal to 3% of base pay, in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
