Job summary

Science Applications International Corp. (SAIC) seeks a Configuration Analyst to support the NSWC Crane Hypersonic Systems Engineering Team in creating and enforcing CM processes, authoring documentation, and applying CM best practices for a developmental program.

The role requires heavy government interface, tracking changes across baselines, and coordinating with multiple teams to ensure data integrity and proper baselines. A secret clearance and hybrid work arrangement are noted.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience.
• Experience with Product Life Cycle Management and Data Management tools such as Windchill, SharePoint, DOORS, or JIRA.
• Leadership experience in configuration management for development and sustainment programs.
• DoD Acquisition program experience; interim clearance to start with ability to obtain a secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist CM lead in formulating CM strategy for the program, including CM for HWIL test environment.
• Apply CM practices to evolving baselines and ensure configuration items are correct and compliant.
• Track system developments, changes, and effects on the overall system; prepare change documentation and audits.
• Coordinate with logistics, engineering, and program management to reflect changes in technical data packages.
• Perform Functional and Physical Configuration Audits (FCA/PCA) and maintain product baselines.
