Job summary

Lockheed Martin in the United States is seeking a Configuration Management professional to coordinate and administer CM activities, including configuration status accounting and documentation control in accordance with program and contractual requirements.

You will generate Engineering Releases in PLM, maintain As-Designed configurations, control access to CM tools, and support CAM training and EVM practices while collaborating with engineering, quality, and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.
• Candidate must be able to meet the requirements for obtaining a secret clearance.
• Must have comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build effective working relationships.

Standard Job Description

Analyzes proposed changes of product design to determine effect on overall product and system. Coordinates modification records for management control. Establishes change orders and prepares for change authorization and documentation by company and subcontractor. Prepares reports of change effect on overall product. Reviews and analyzes released engineering change data and coordinates changes with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and engineering data control activities. Ensures that customer requirements are implemented and reviews change accounting activity to ensure compliance with configuration management policies.

Conduct the coordination and administration of assigned Configuration Management activities associated with Configuration Status Accounting in accordance with program and contractual requirements. Generate Engineering Releases in PLM to process documents (specifications, Engineering Release Records, etc.) Maintain an accurate As-Designed configuration within the PLM database for all end item deliverables. Maintain program access control for CM systems/tools. Conduct the coordination and administration of assigned Configuration Management activities associated with Configuration Control in accordance with program and contractual requirements.

Review Contracts And Statements Of Work Typical Duties Include

• Participate in review of all Contracts, which includes providing comments regarding the content in the Terms & Conditions, Statement of Work, Contract Data Requirements List, and Document Summary List, as well as verification of comment incorporation. Prepare and update work instructions as required.

• Experienced in DOD and Commercial Active Secret Clearance Management practices and knowledge of EIA-649, National Consensus Standard for Configuration Management and experience implementing and conducting a Configuration Management program per MILHDBK-61(A), Configuration Management Guidance
• Experience with electronic data vaulting and digital data handling and an understanding of the ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) and ANSI (American National Standards Institute) Y14 drafting, drawing and documentation standards
• Working knowledge of hardware/software configuration management and version control tools and methods
• Working knowledge of data management tools and method for tracking deliverables from/to customer and sub-contractors
• Comprehensive understanding and experience with DoD Government contracts
• Earned Value Management (EVM) knowledge. Will require successful completion of Control Account Management (CAM) training

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $49500.00 - $91900.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
