Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher required; relevant exempt experience may apply.
• Master's Degree optional or preferred depending on role.
• Associate's Degree with 2 years relevant exempt or 4 years non-exempt experience considered.
• Military Paygrade E-5 or higher or equivalent military experience.
• High School/GED with 4 years manufacturing/shipbuilding/military experience.
• High School/GED with 8 years manufacturing/shipbuilding/military experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate preparation of project documentation, including engineering drawings, production specifications and schedules, and contract modifications.
• Review contracts to determine required documentation for each project phase and coordinate changes with engineering and manufacturing teams.
• Analyze proposed design changes to assess impact on the product and system; establish change orders and prepare for change authorization.
• Coordinate modification records for management control and ensure release data aligns with engineering and data control activities.

The Role

Plans and coordinates preparation of project documentation, such as engineering drawings, production specifications and schedules, and contract modifications, to ensure customer contract requirements are met. Reviews contract to determine documentation required for each phase of project, applying knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes. Analyzes proposed changes of product design to determine effect on overall product and system. Coordinates modification records for management control. Establishes change orders and prepares for change authorization and documentation by company and subcontractor. Reviews and analyzes released engineering change data and coordinates changes with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and engineering data control activities.

Must Have

Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of relevant exempt experience; Master's Degree and 4 year of relevant professional experience

• NNS Apprentice School graduate

• Navy Nuclear Power School (NNPS) graduate

• Associate's Degree or other formal 2 year program and 2 years of relevant exempt experience or 4 years of relevant non-exempt experience

• Military Paygrade E-5 or above military experience

• High School/GED and 4 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant exempt experience

• High School/GED and 8 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant non-exempt experience
