The Junto Hotel, a modern venue in Columbus, OH, seeks a Catering Services Manager who can orchestrate memorable events and lead cross-departmental collaboration to translate plans into flawless execution.

This role emphasizes a guest-first approach, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple teams to deliver exceptional service and memorable experiences for clients and guests alike.

Qualifications

• Prior Conference/Event Services experience required.
• Guest-first mentality; approachable, personable, professional.
• Thorough understanding of the property and amenities; work with sales teams on current promotions and packages, as needed.
• Effective communication skills across multiple teams.
• Organized and effective.

Responsibilities

• Conduct client tours of spaces.
• Create detailed banquet event orders for execution of events.
• Work closely with banquet department on operations and event execution.
• Monitor group room blocks and pickup; generate detailed resumes for operating departments.
• Maintain detailed accounts and communications of contracts, event orders, and invoices.

This individual takes pride when orchestrating an event. The ultimate liaison, a Catering Services Manager is able to pull together all the pieces and departments necessary to execute a successful and memorable event. They are comfortable supporting, managing, and supervising others. This individual is a true visionary who can see the big picture and has the knowledge and experience to take something from pen and paper to reality.

Base salary + bonus plan

Requested Tasks:

• Conduct client tours of spaces
• Create detailed banquet event orders for execution of events
• Work closely with banquet department on operations and event execution
