Law.com is seeking a highly motivated Conference Programmer to develop, shape, and execute industry-leading conferences and events. This role blends research, content development, speaker engagement, and onsite production.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in conference production, content development, research, or related fields.
  • Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to translate insights into compelling agendas.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, especially with senior-level professionals.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to travel for onsite event execution.

Responsibilities

  • Content & Research: Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities within Law.com’s core industries.
  • Content & Research: Develop conference themes, session topics, and full-scale agendas based on research and audience needs.
  • Content & Research: Interview industry experts, clients, and internal stakeholders to validate content direction and relevance.
  • Speaker & Advisory Board Management: Source, recruit, and secure high-caliber speakers and maintain advisory boards.
  • Speaker & Advisory Board Management: Build and manage advisory boards to guide content strategy.
  • Speaker & Advisory Board Management: Maintain strong relationships with speakers and advisors throughout planning.
  • Event Production & Onsite: Serve as primary content lead onsite, manage speakers, session flow, and program execution.
  • Event Production & Onsite: Coordinate with marketing, operations, sales, and sponsorship for seamless delivery.
  • Event Production & Onsite: Troubleshoot onsite challenges and support speakers for a polished attendee experience.
  • Project Management: Oversee production timelines, deliverables, and deadlines to ensure on-schedule launches.

Position Overview Law.com is seeking a highly motivated Conference Programmer to develop, shape, and execute industry‑leading conferences and events. This role blends research, content development, speaker engagement, and onsite production. Key Responsibilities

Content & Research

  • Conduct in‑depth market research to identify emerging trends, challenges, and opportunities within Law.com’s core industries.
  • Develop compelling conference themes, session topics, and full‑scale agendas based on research and audience needs.
  • Interview industry experts, clients, and internal stakeholders to validate content direction and ensure program relevance.

Speaker & Advisory Board Management

  • Source, recruit, and secure high‑caliber speakers, panelists, and moderators, including senior executives, thought leaders, and subject‑matter experts.
  • Build and manage advisory boards to guide content strategy and ensure alignment with market priorities.
  • Maintain strong relationships with speakers and advisors throughout the planning cycle.

Event Production & Onsite Management

  • Serve as the primary content lead onsite, managing speakers, session flow, and overall program execution.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, operations, sales, sponsorship) to ensure seamless event delivery.
  • Troubleshoot onsite challenges and support speakers to ensure a polished attendee experience.
  • Project Management
  • Oversee production timelines, deliverables, and deadlines to ensure events launch on schedule.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing to craft compelling event positioning and messaging.
  • Partner with sponsorship teams to identify content‑aligned commercial opportunities.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Analyze post‑event feedback and performance metrics to refine future programs.
  • Monitor competitive events and industry shifts to keep Law.com’s conferences differentiated and innovative.
  • Contribute ideas for new event formats, product expansions, and audience engagement strategies.
