Job summary

YMCA of the Rockies is seeking an Event Staff member to manage conference set-ups, AV support, and guest services with a strong emphasis on cleanliness and safety. The role includes snow removal, space maintenance, and assisting catering teams.

Candidates must be fluent in English, hold a valid driver’s license, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Flexibility across shifts is required for busy and slow periods.

Qualifications

• Fluently read, write and speak English.
• Must possess a valid USA state-issued driver’s license and good driving record.
• Ability to lift and carry supplies weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Eight-hour shifts between 6am and 11pm.
• Must maintain stamina for busy, fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Set up conference spaces (chairs, tables, AV equipment) and handle special requests.
• Maintain cleanliness of meeting rooms, public spaces and restrooms.
• Snow removal from entrances and related outdoor areas.
• Assist Food Service with delivery of refreshments and catering.
• Provide reception support and interdepartmental communications as needed.
• Operate carpet cleaning equipment and respond to cleaning or safety needs.
