Restaurant Associates in NYC is seeking a Conference Catering Director to deliver flawless, executive-level catering for a corporate dining account. You will lead a management team and partner closely with executive stakeholders to ensure impeccable service.

The role requires exceptional judgment, attention to detail, and a refined hospitality IQ, with a Monday–Friday schedule and flexibility for executive events as needed.

Job Summary:

The Conference Catering Director is responsible for delivering flawless, executive‑level catering and meeting services for a corporate dining account in NYC. This highly visible role requires exceptional judgment, attention to detail, and a refined hospitality IQ. The ideal candidate instinctively knows what “good looks like” and executes at that level—consistently and without direction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead catering operations for executive meetings and events
• Lead management team in execution of company and client standards
• Track labor and purchasing costs, adhering to preset budget factors
• Deliver polished service with discretion and professionalism
• Anticipate client needs and ensure seamless execution
• Train and lead staff to the highest hospitality and presentation standards
• Partner closely with executive stakeholders and administrative teams
• Oversee service wares, rentals, and vendor relationships

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in executive dining, luxury hospitality, or high‑end catering
• Strong service instincts and elevated hospitality standards
• Calm, confident leadership style in high‑visibility environments
• Professional presence and exceptional attention to detail
• Strong communicator, detailed organizer, and ability to solve problems under pressure
• Work schedule is Monday–Friday, morning/afternoon and early evening hours; flexibility as needed for executive events
