Diamond’s Management Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced Conduit Specialist to support underground utility construction operations and ensure accurate, compliant conduit installation for telecom, electrical, and related infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of conduit installation or underground utilities experience.
• Experience with PVC, HDPE, and/or duct bank systems.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong understanding of trenching, grading, and installation tolerances.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Install underground conduit systems (PVC, HDPE, steel) for telecom and electrical applications.
• Measure, cut, and assemble conduit to meet project specifications.
• Ensure proper alignment, spacing, and depth of conduit runs.
• Install sweeps, bends, couplings, and vault connections.
• Assist with duct bank installations, including spacers and encasement preparation.
• Support trenching, excavation, and backfilling operations.
• Verify trench depth, grade, and bedding material prior to conduit placement.
• Ensure proper compaction and restoration following installation.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, profiles, and utility plans.
• Verify conduit placement meets project specifications and tolerances.
• Assist with mandrel testing, pull tape installation, and inspection readiness.
• Maintain clean, organized, and inspection-ready work areas.
• Follow OSHA, VDOT, and local safety standards; comply with 811/Dig Safe requirements.

Diamond’s Management Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced and detail-orientedConduit Specialistto support underground utility construction operations. This role is responsible for theinstallation, alignment, and protection of conduit systemsfor telecommunications, electrical, and related infrastructure.

The Conduit Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring conduit installations are completedaccurately, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

Conduit Installation & Layout

• Install undergroundconduit systems (PVC, HDPE, steel)for telecom and electrical applications
• Measure, cut, and assemble conduit to meet project specifications
• Ensure properalignment, spacing, and depthof conduit runs
• Installsweeps, bends, couplings, and vault connections
• Assist withduct bank installations, including spacers and encasement preparation

Trenching & Site Work

• Support trenching, excavation, and backfilling operations
• Verify trench depth, grade, and bedding material prior to conduit placement
• Ensure proper compaction and restoration following installation
• Hand-dig around existing utilities to prevent damage

Quality Control & Compliance

• Read and interpretconstruction drawings, profiles, and utility plans
• Verify conduit placement meetsproject specifications and tolerances
• Assist withmandrel testing, pull tape installation, and inspection readiness
• Maintain clean, organized, and inspection-ready work areas

Safety & Regulations (Non-Negotiable)

• Follow allOSHA, VDOT, and local utility safety standards
• Ensure compliance with811/Dig Safe requirementsprior to excavation
• Utilize properPPE and trench safety practices
• Identify and report hazards immediately
• Participate in dailytailgate safety meetings

Coordination & Team Support

• Work closely with foremen, operators, and crew members to maintain production flow
• Coordinate with inspectors and project managers as needed
• Maintain clear communication regarding progress, challenges, and material needs

Qualifications

• Minimum2–3 years of experiencein conduit installation or underground utilities
• Experience withPVC, HDPE, and/or duct bank systems
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Strong understanding of trenching, grading, and installation tolerances
• ValidDriver’s License
