Job summary

The Walker Group-Legal Recruiting is assisting a well-established Palm Beach County law firm seeking an experienced condominium/HOA attorney. The role focuses on drafting, interpreting, and enforcing governing documents, and advising boards on governance, insurance, budgeting, and compliance within Chapters 718 and 720.

Qualifications

• Florida Bar member in good standing.
• 5+ years of condominium and HOA experience (Chapters 718 and 720).
• Excellent client communication skills and confidence advising boards.
• Must be able to work on-site in the office 5 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Drafting, interpreting, and enforcing governing documents and relevant statutes.
• Advising boards on governance, developer turnover, insurance, budgeting, and compliance, including milestone inspections and SIRS requirements.
• Attending board, annual, and membership meetings; overseeing elections.
• Reviewing and negotiating vendor contracts and AIA construction contracts.
• Covenant enforcement, assessment collections, and representing associations in litigation, arbitration, and mediation.
• Managing a caseload with a high degree of independence.
