Job summary

JBS Foods in Texas is seeking a team member for operations in the packing plant. Responsibilities include logging into the computer daily to verify kill drives, and coordinating condemned product removal by lot according to the pens lineup.

You will identify condemn reasons and distinguish Heifers from Steers, while monitoring accuracy across the work stations. The role requires the ability to catch mistakes, balance workloads, and rotate between scales in the slaughter department.

Qualifications

• Must be able to rotate from scale to scale in the slaughter department.
• A good knowledge of computer experience is required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a packing plant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Log into the computer daily before cattle reach the work station to verify that the kill drives were established.
• Place condemned product off the gut table by lot based on the lineup from pens.
• Identify different types of condemn reasons.
• Identify Heifers and Steers accurately.
• Catch mistakes and balance on the work station throughout the day.
• Rotate from scale to scale in the slaughter department.

1. General Description:
   Responsibilities and duties will include, but are not limited to the following:
   1) Log into the computer on a daily basis before cattle get to work station to verify that the kill drives were already established
   2) Using the lineup provided by pens, team member must place Track condemned product off the gut table by lot.
   3) Be able to identify different type of condemn reasons.
   4) Be able to identify Heifers and Steers
   5) Must be able to catch mistakes and balance on work station though out the entire day.
   7) Must be able to rotate from scale to scale in the slaughter department.

• Working Conditions:
  Hazards faced include chemicals, hooks and sharp objects.
  Work area is rather noisy with many slippery floors.
  Temperature in work area is very hot on a consistent basis.
  Qualifications:
