Are you an experienced SAP Concur specialist ready to lead high-impact system architecture on a flagship federal project? We are seeking a Concur Design/Build/Test Consultant to support the GSA GO.gov program.
In this role, you will help deliver a modern, single Travel & Expense (T&E) managed service designed to support over 124 government agencies and serve as the foundation for federal travel over the next 15 years. You will act as the technical subject matter expert, partnering with business stakeholders, development teams, and vendors to design, configure, test, and deploy robust SaaS T&E solutions.
Solution Architecture & Design: Lead functional and technical design sessions to architect Concur solutions, translate complex change requests into clear functional specifications, and streamline user workflows.
System Configuration & Build: Hands-on configuration of SAP Concur Expense and Request modules aligned with client requirements and industry standards.
Ecosystem Integration: Coordinate technical integrations connecting SAP Concur to finance systems, HR platforms, corporate card providers, Duty of Care platforms, and mid-office travel tools via APIs.
Testing & Quality Assurance: Develop end-to-end test scripts, lead System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), perform defect resolution, and promote smooth releases into production.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as the functional bridge between client leads, internal developers, and third-party vendors to maintain clear communication and ensure program success.
U.S. Citizenship is required due to government security clearance requirements (must be clearable to MBI).
Proven hands-on experience with SAP Concur implementation, configuration, and design.
Deep domain knowledge of the Travel & Expense (T&E) industry, including modern processes, trends, and integrations with financial/HR systems.
Proven ability to write clear technical documentation, functional specifications, and comprehensive test scripts.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and verbal/written communication skills.
Prior experience delivering solutions for government agencies (especially GSA) or enterprise-scale client implementations.
Familiarity with federal travel regulations and government agency operations.
