NEBCO, Inc. is recruiting for a Transit Mixer Driver to deliver concrete mix and related products to job sites. The role requires a valid Class B CDL and a NE driver’s license, with the ability to read orders and follow dispatch directions. A $2,500 hiring bonus is offered.

Responsibilities include pre/post-trip safety checks, mixer preparation, and safe unloading at sites. The position may involve flexible hours and occasional maintenance tasks around the plant and yard.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have a valid Class B CDL.
• Must have a valid NE driver’s license and be insurable.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, maps, load tickets and memos.
• Must meet DOT physical requirements and carry current exam card.
• Able to work flexible hours and be available for busy season.

Responsabilidades

• Perform daily pre- and post-trip safety checks on equipment and truck.
• Document any required maintenance.
• Back or drive truck under loading hopper and prepare mixer for receipt of concrete.
• Drive to job sites for unloading and ensure safe conditions.
• Assemble and attach chute; discharge concrete per contractor specs.
• Wash out truck when appropriate and replace chute; prevent concrete hardening.
• Monitor tire pressures; ensure lights and mirrors are operational; coordinate repairs.
