Job summary

STRUCTURAL in Chicago, IL is seeking Concrete Technicians to join our team. This role involves concrete repair, demolition, placement and finishing, formwork, rebar, coating, fireproofing, welding, and grouting on commercial projects.

Applicants should have 2+ years of experience with self-performing contractors, be willing to obtain a TWIC card, and able to wear a respirator. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to site daily are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with a self-performing contractor, GC, or specialty contractor.
• Must obtain TWIC Card or have it.
• Willing to wear a respirator and pass required training.
• Must have reliable transportation and active driver's license to get to the site daily.

Responsibilities

• Concrete repair and demolition tasks as assigned.
• Concrete placement, finishing, and formwork duties.
• Rebar replacement and concrete coating application.
• Fireproofing installation and occasional structural welding.
• Equipment grouting and on-site safety compliance.

STRUCTURAL, is looking for Concrete Technicians to join our Chicago, IL team

Construction duties include:

• Concrete repair
• Concrete demolition
• Concrete placement and finishing
• Formwork / carpentry
• Rebar replacement
• Concrete Coating application
• Fireproofing Installation
• Structural Steel Welding
• Equipment Grouting

Successful candidates must meet the following criteria to be considered for this position:

• 2+ years of experience with a self-performing contractor, general contractor (GC), or specialty contractor. Preference will be given to those with concrete or concrete repair experience
• Must have or be willing to obtain a TWIC Card
• Must being willing to wear a respirator
• Able to pass written or computerized training
• Must have reliable transportation and active drivers license to get to the site daily.
