Role Overview

The Concrete Superintendent oversees day-to-day concrete operations on assigned projects, ensuring quality, safety standards, and adherence to project schedules.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate concrete crews, including finishers, laborers, and equipment operators.
• Ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with quality standards.
• Provide hands-on guidance and support crew development through on-the-job training.
• Review project plans and specifications with the Project Superintendent before work begins.
• Organize daily work activities and allocate labor and equipment based on project priorities.
• Communicate progress, challenges, and potential issues to the Project Superintendent regularly.
• Track daily production and measure performance against project goals.
• Coordinate material deliveries and equipment requirements to minimize delays.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in concrete construction, including vertical and structural concrete work.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Working Conditions

• Work takes place primarily on active construction jobsites, with occasional work in warehouses, offices, and construction trailers.
• Regular walking throughout construction jobsites.
