Job summary

Valtex LLC in Southwest Florida seeks an experienced Concrete Superintendent to lead field operations for commercial concrete and structural framing projects. You will supervise crews, read blueprints, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

This hands-on leader will manage formwork, materials, equipment, and daily production across multiple sites, travel as needed, and partner with Project Managers to meet project specifications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Superintendent, Concrete Superintendent, or Lead Foreman on commercial concrete projects
• Hands-on knowledge of site concrete, formwork, and structural framing
• Florida construction experience required
• Ability to supervise and coordinate field crews and subcontractors
• Strong leadership, communication, and organization skills

The Opportunity

Valtex LLC is seeking an experienced Concrete Superintendent to lead field operations for commercial concrete and structural framing projects throughout Southwest Florida. As the primary field leader, you will oversee projects from start to finish, coordinating crews, subcontractors, equipment, materials, and daily production to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications.

This role is ideal for a hands‑on construction leader with strong commercial concrete experience who understands how to keep field operations organized, solve problems quickly, and drive projects forward without sacrificing safety or quality.

How You Will Make An Impact

• Oversee day-to-day field operations on commercial concrete and structural framing projects from mobilization through completion.
• Supervise, schedule, and coordinate field crews, subcontractors, equipment, and daily jobsite activities.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, structural drawings, and construction documents to ensure work meets project requirements.
• Manage site concrete operations, formwork, structural framing, and related field activities.
• Establish daily and weekly production goals and monitor progress against project schedules.
• Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Estimators, clients, and other project stakeholders.
• Manage material deliveries, equipment needs, site logistics, and workforce requirements.
• Enforce company safety procedures and maintain high safety standards across every jobsite.
• Monitor workmanship and quality control to ensure installations meet plans, specifications, and company standards.
• Coordinate inspections and help ensure work complies with applicable Florida construction requirements.
• Identify and troubleshoot field issues before they impact project schedules or budgets.
• Maintain clear communication regarding project progress, delays, material needs, and changing site conditions.
• Lead crews by example while maintaining an organized, productive, and professional jobsite.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent, Concrete Superintendent, or Lead Foreman on commercial concrete projects.
• Hands‑on knowledge of site concrete, concrete formwork, and structural framing.
• Florida construction experience required.
• Proven ability to supervise and coordinate field crews and subcontractors.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction sequencing and field operations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, structural drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple jobsite priorities while maintaining schedules and quality standards.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel to project sites throughout Southwest Florida.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• Familiarity with Southwest Florida building codes, permitting requirements, and inspection processes.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• Experience overseeing projects involving both structural framing and concrete scopes.
• Experience coordinating multiple trades and subcontractors on active commercial construction sites.
• Strong understanding of jobsite safety, quality control, scheduling, and production management.

Compensation & Benefits

• $85,000–$115,000 per year, based on experience.
