Job summary

Shiel Sexton Company is seeking a General Trade Skilled Laborer to perform interior and exterior construction duties on active Indianapolis projects, including framing, hardware installation, door hanging, demolition and general construction tasks.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years in commercial construction, strong teamwork, reliability and a commitment to safety and quality; you will operate hand and power tools on site and contribute to project milestones with integrity.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in commercial construction.
• Construction operations experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Framing, hardware, accessory installation, hanging doors, demolition and general construction duties.
• Readiness to learn and grow construction skills while maintaining high integrity and ethics.

Job description

The General Trade Skilled Laborer works as a member of a diverse crew performing a variety of interior and exterior construction responsibilities including framing, hardware, accessory installation, hanging doors, demolition and general construction duties.

• Working with tape measure, hand tools, bubble and laser levels, power tools, and various other construction equipment to tear down, remodel, build and renovate.
• Readiness to learn and grow your construction skills from industry leading professionals while maintaining the highest level of integrity and ethics.
• Able to be on time and present every day for work.

Experience and Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in commercial construction
