Position Summary

KCS is seeking a skilled Concrete Pump Operator to join our growing team. This role is responsible for operating and maintaining concrete pump trucks safely and efficiently at a variety of construction sites. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with concrete pumping equipment and a commitment to safety, communication, and job site excellence.

Responsibilities

• Operate concrete pump truck and deliver concrete to designated locations on construction sites.
• Set up, dismantle, and clean pump equipment according to safety standards.
• Monitor concrete flow to ensure even distribution and prevent blockages.
• Coordinate with drivers and job site supervisors for proper concrete placement.
• Inspect, maintain, and perform basic repairs on pumps, hoses, and related tools.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including PPE use and equipment safety checks.
• Accurately complete daily logs and job-related paperwork.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) required.
• Must meet company insurance eligibility requirements.
• Must pass pre-employment and random drug screenings (KCS is a drug-free workplace).
• Prior experience operating a concrete pump preferred.
• Understanding of concrete pumping techniques and on-site safety practices.
• Ability to perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Physically able to lift heavy equipment and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
