Job summary

Building Concrete Solutions in Houston, TX is seeking a Project Manager to lead complex commercial construction projects from inception to completion.

You will manage schedules, budgets, and client relationships, ensure safety and quality, and coordinate a team across disciplines using P6.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction experience.
• Bachelor’s degree required (Construction Management related field preferred).
• Proficient in project management software.

Responsibilities

• Complete understanding of the Contract Documents.
• Document Management.
• Create and maintain all project logs (Procurement, Submittal, Change Proposals, etc.).
• Develop and maintain the project schedule utilizing P6 software platform.
• Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and budget.
• Efficiently conduct all project meetings in a professional manner including development and distribution of minutes.
• Project Close Out.
• Coordinate project personnel activities to ensure project remains on schedule.
• Provide technical assistance (interpretation of drawings, recommending construction methods, etc.).
• Lead the project’s quality process and principles.
• Take an active role in preconstruction efforts.
• Maintain positive relationships with our partners and clients.
• Sense of urgency and drive to be the best.

Job Purpose

A project manager’s role is to effectively lead the successful completion of the project on time and within budget. The project manager shall work with the balance of the project team to effectively deliver the project to ensure maximum client satisfaction
