Job summary

Commercial Metals is seeking a production worker to support the precast concrete process from setup through shipment, including forms, rebar placement, and finishing. This role offers hands-on experience in a Fortune 500 company and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform physical work (lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, bending, kneeling) for extended periods.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Overtime availability, including weekends as needed.
• Ability to work well on a team to meet production goals.
• Basic math and reading skills (measurements, simple drawings).
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Manufacturing, construction, or concrete experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Support production of precast concrete products from setup through shipment.
• Set up and prepare molds/forms (clean, assemble, apply release agents).
• Place reinforcing materials (rebar, wire mesh, embeds) per specifications.
• Assist with pouring, leveling, and finishing concrete.
• Support curing process and strip finished products from molds.
• Perform basic finishing (patching, smoothing, marking/stenciling).
• Cut and tie wire/rebar as needed for reinforcement.
• Move and stage materials and finished products for curing or shipment.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
