Job summary

Commercial Metals in Virginia is seeking a hands-on production associate to support precast concrete from setup to shipment. You will set up molds, place rebar and mesh, assist with pouring and finishing, and help move items for curing or shipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work overtime, including weekends, as needed.
• Team-oriented with strong safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Support production of precast concrete products from setup through shipment.
• Set up and prepare molds/forms, and apply release agents.
• Place reinforcing materials per specifications and assist with pouring and finishing.
• Support curing and strip finished products from molds.
• Move and stage materials and finished products for curing or shipment.
• Keep work area clean and organized and follow safety procedures.
