Job summary

Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Plant Supervisor to oversee our ready-mix concrete plant operations. You will manage equipment, materials, and production to meet client needs while maintaining safety for personnel and customers.

You will coordinate daily production and deliveries with the Plant Manager, supervise plant staff, handle scheduling, and ensure on-time service. The role requires DOT/OSHA/EPA knowledge and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience with concrete and related products.
• 1 year maintenance and supervisory experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred).
• Knowledge of DOT, OSHA, EPA regulations.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Learns safety protocols and leads safety meetings, enforcing equipment use.
• Ensures batching accuracy and monitors material quality.
• Coordinates operations with Area Operations Manager.
• Supervises plant staff and supports hiring and performance management.
• Maintains payroll/timekeeping records.
• Monitors delivery timing and coordinates with mixer operators for on-time service.
• Oversees equipment inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Ensures plant operates at target capacity.
• Maintains plant cleanliness and organization.
