Job summary

EMERY SAPP & SONS is seeking a Concrete Plant Laborer to support daily plant operations and assist with concrete production and delivery. You will help keep the plant clean, safe, and efficient while following company safety standards.

The role involves loading/unloading materials, basic equipment maintenance, supervising truck movements, and reporting malfunctions. Outdoor work, long hours, and overtime may be required. High school diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in construction, manufacturing, quarry, aggregate, or concrete plant preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Willingness to learn plant operations and basic mechanical tasks.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Perform general housekeeping and cleanup throughout the plant.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials used in concrete production.
• Clean and maintain mixers, conveyors, aggregate bins, silos, and other plant equipment.
• Monitor material levels and assist with inventory management.
• Help perform routine maintenance and repairs on plant equipment and facilities.
• Direct truck traffic and assist drivers entering and leaving the plant safely.
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, and maintenance needs.
• Follow all company safety policies, environmental regulations, and operational procedures.
