Job summary

CMC provides an excellent opportunity to join a team responsible for producing concrete pipe from setup through shipment. You will set up molds, place reinforcing materials, pour concrete, cure, and finish products, gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

We welcome candidates with basic math/reading skills, strong work ethic, and a safety mindset. Training and advancement opportunities are available, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Overtime availability, including weekends.
• Ability to work well in a team to meet production goals.
• Basic math and reading skills for measurements and drawings.
• Attention to detail and safety.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Manufacturing, construction, or concrete experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support production of concrete pipe from setup through shipment.
• Set up and prepare pipe molds (clean, assemble, apply release agents).
• Place reinforcing materials (steel cages, wire) per specifications.
• Assist with concrete pouring using mixers, buckets, or automated equipment.
• Support curing process and strip finished pipe from molds.
• Perform basic finishing (patching, smoothing, sealing joints).
• Operate or assist with vibration/compaction equipment.
• Move and stage materials and finished products for curing or shipment.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
