Job summary

CMC is seeking a hands-on worker to learn and grow within our steel and construction reinforcement operations. You will inspect concrete pipes, perform repairs, and ensure high-quality finishes on a high-volume production line.

You'll work across a variety of tasks—from inspecting defects to mixing patching materials—while following safety procedures and maintaining clean work areas. A High School Diploma or GED is required, overtime may be needed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of concrete repair, finishing, and patching techniques.
• Ability to identify defects and determine appropriate repairs.
• Ability to perform physical work, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Availability for overtime, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Inspect concrete pipe for cracks, chips, and other surface defects.
• Perform repairs before curing, after curing, and prior to shipment.
• Mix and apply patching materials to produce structurally sound repairs.
• Dress and finish pipe surfaces by removing excess concrete and correcting imperfections.
• Maintain quality standards while repairing a high volume of products.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Assist with other production duties as needed.
