Actalent is seeking a Construction Materials Technician (Concrete) in Tulsa, OK. This full-time, contract-to-hire role focuses on preparing and testing concrete samples, conducting compressive strength tests, and maintaining accurate data records in a dedicated lab.

The ideal candidate will have concrete testing experience, familiarity with cylinder tests, and a strong attention to detail, with safety and quality standards guiding daily work. Onsite lab environment with potential for growth.

Qualifications

• ACI Strength Certification required or strongly preferred.
• Experience or knowledge in concrete testing, including cylinder testing and strength testing.
• Proficiency in laboratory documentation and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and test concrete samples in accordance with established procedures.
• Perform compressive strength testing and related laboratory duties.
• Record test results, maintain thorough documentation, and enter data accurately.
• Maintain testing equipment and ensure cleanliness and organization of the lab.
• Follow laboratory safety procedures and quality standards.
• Complete testing within required turnaround times to meet project deadlines.
