Job Description: We are looking for a concrete labourer who takes pride in their work and can handle a variety of concrete tasks, from formwork and placement to finishing and curing. This role requires attention to detail, reliability, and a strong work ethic. The ability to travel is mandatory as we cater to a wide range of areas within the South East Queensland region and occasionally NSW.
Responsibilities:
Reading and interpreting blueprints and plans
Setting up and maintaining formwork
Pouring, leveling, and finishing concrete
Ensuring the correct mixture of concrete
Applying curing and sealing compounds
Operating hand and power tools
Performing quality checks
Adhering to safety standards and regulations
Communicating with suppliers and ensuring orders are placed and delivered on schedule
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Concreter (examples of work will be highly appreciated)
Knowledge of concrete mixing, pouring, and curing techniques
Ability to use tools and equipment safely and effectively
Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labour
Attention to detail and commitment to quality
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Must be punctual, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team
