Job summary

Founded over 40 years ago in Rapid City, Scull Construction Service, Inc. seeks a concrete laborer to assist with concrete placement and learn the trade from an exceptional team on challenging projects in the northern plains.

Qualifications

• Must pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screening.
• Must have personal transportation to and from job sites, including out-of-town work.
• Must arrive on time with PPE and necessary tools.
• Attend safety meetings and maintain safe job site practices.
• Wear PPE as directed (hard hats, safety glasses, high-visibility vests).
• Willingness to travel out-of-town and work overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Carry forms, strip forms, clean tools, tie rebar, and use a rebar bender.
• Spread and smooth concrete.
• Maintain clean work area and job site.
• Operate equipment such as a gas saw, Bobcat, and forklift.
• Take direction from supervisor and ask questions when unclear.
• Work as a team and progress as a team.
• Assist with all tasks, even if below your skill level.
