Job summary

Enterprise Precast Concrete is the nation’s premier provider of high quality architectural precast components and related fabrication services. We are currently looking to add a bilingual concrete laborer to our production team to support existing processes and safety standards.

The role emphasizes learning under supervision, reliability, teamwork, and ongoing involvement in productive tasks, with a focus on forming, tying, cleaning up, and general fabrication activities in a production

Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred but not required.
• At least 1 year of concrete laborer experience.
• Capable of lifting heavy objects and working in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist crew leader in setting up and oiling forms, laying mesh, tying reinforcing bars and steel.
• Perform tasks related to fabrication of precast concrete products and report availability to the Crew Leader.
• Maintain punctuality and dependability in line with company policy.
• Demonstrate teamwork and look for ways to improve work processes.
• Ensure plant safety per Safety Manual and safety directions.

We are currently looking to add a bilingual concrete laborer to our production team! Below is more regarding job specifics.

Job responsibilities

• Works under direct supervision of a crew leader for the purpose of learning the following basic skills:
  • Setting up and oiling forms
  • Laying mesh
  • Tying reinforcing bars
  • Tying steel
  • Setting inserts
  • Striking off
  • Stripping forms
  • Cleaning up
• Shows consistent improvement in the ability to perform work utilizing these skills.
• Takes the initiative to remain involved in productive work throughout the workday, either by performing work related to fabrication of precast concrete products or by informing the Crew Leader of availability to perform other tasks.
• Comes to work regularly and on time, in accordance with company policy.
• Demonstrates loyalty to the company and mutual respect for other personnel.
• Functions as a team player, and looks for ways to improve the way work is done
• Assumes responsibility for maintaining plant safety in accordance with the Enterprise Properties, Inc. Safety Manual and the direction of the Safety Coordinator.

Requirements

• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred but not required
• 1+ year of experience in a concrete laborer role
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification
