Job summary

Enterprise Precast Concrete is seeking a bilingual concrete laborer to join our production team in Kansas City. The role involves learning form setup, mesh installation, reinforcing bars, and miscellaneous fabrication tasks.

Requirements include 1+ year in concrete labor, physical stamina, and the ability to lift heavy objects. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Benefits include full-time, health options after 60 days, and 401K with match.

Responsibilities

• Learn under the supervision of a crew leader to set up and oil forms.
• Learn to lay mesh and tie reinforcing bars and steel.
• Assist with setting inserts, striking off, and stripping forms.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and improve processes where possible.
• Be punctual and work as part of a team to support production goals.

Enterprise Precast Concrete is the nation's premier provider of high quality architectural precast components for decades. We provide products from architectural panels and custom architectural fabrication to site furnishings and design/build consultation. We are currently looking to add a bilingual concrete laborer to our production team! Below is more regarding job specifics.

Job responsibilities

• Works under direct supervision of a crew leader for the purpose of learning the following basic skills:
  • Setting up and oiling forms
  • Laying mesh
  • Tying reinforcing bars
  • Tying steel
  • Setting inserts
  • Striking off
  • Stripping forms
  • Cleaning up
• Shows consistent improvement in the ability to perform work utilizing these skills
• Takes the initiative to remain involved in productive work throughout the workday, either by performing work related to fabrication of precast concrete products or by informing the Crew Leader of availability to perform other tasks
• Comes to work regularly and on time, in accordance with company policy
• Demonstrates loyalty to the company and mutual respect for other personnel
• Functions as a team player, and looks for ways to improve the way work is done
• Assumes responsibility for maintaining plant safety in accordance with the Enterprise Properties, Inc. Safety Manual and the direction of the Safety Coordinator
