Job summary

The role requires assisting with grade setting, formwork for sidewalks and ramps, and placing/finishing concrete while maintaining safety and accuracy on job sites. Level IV tasks imply growth with experience in a dynamic industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret instructions and documentation.
• Personal hand tools required as established on the Yates Industrial Minimum Tool List.
• Successful completion of required Safety trainings such as Confined Space, LOTO, and Working at Heights.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setting grade for paving forms and sub-grade.
• Assist with setting forms for alleys, streets, driveways, sidewalks, ADA ramps, inlets, curbs, and concrete structures.
• Assist with placing and finishing concrete to required grade and finish.
• Operate electric and pneumatic tools.
• Load and haul job materials to the work site.
• Direct casting of concrete with the truck driver.
• Assist with pouring smoothing and leveling concrete.
• Apply sealants and hardening components.
• Safely operate vibrators to compact concrete.
