Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of formworker experience in construction.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and building plans.
• Physically capable of lifting heavy objects and working in various weather conditions.
• Attention to detail and precision.

Responsibilities

• Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using basic tools.
• Study blueprints or plans to determine material needs.
• Follow safety procedures when handling materials and equipment.
• Build wooden molds to hold concrete while it sets.
• Align forms for sidewalks, curbs, or gutters; patch voids; cut expansion joints.
• Erect scaffolding and ladders for work at height.
• Install anchor bolts, steel plates and fixtures in concrete; decorate surface as needed.
