Job summary

Forsyth, GA-based concrete carpenter role focusing on formwork, rebar placement, and finishing tasks on commercial and civil projects. The candidate will read prints, lay out formwork, assemble forms, install rebar and anchors, brace forms, pour concrete and finish surfaces to spec.

Candidate should have 3+ years of formwork experience, be comfortable outdoors in varying weather, and capable of handling heavy materials while adhering to safety procedures. OSHA 10 is preferred or obtainable.

Qualifications

• 3+ years concrete formwork/carpentry experience
• Ability to read blueprints and civil drawings
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather
• Must be capable of lifting heavy materials regularly

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret prints, drawings, plans and specifications to prepare formwork layout
• Measure, cut, assemble and install wooden and prefabricated concrete forms and scaffolding
• Install rebar, embeds, anchor bolts, spreaders and tie-rods to maintain dimensions and alignment
• Pour concrete, finish surfaces to specifications and protect/cure concrete as directed
• Maintain hand and power tools and ensure site safety procedures
