S.M.H. Construction Co., Inc. in Charleston, WV is seeking a Carpenter to build concrete formwork for major heavy civil infrastructure projects. This is a full-time role on on-site job sites within the region, with Fridays off on a four-day workweek.

The position requires hands-on carpentry experience, tool proficiency, and strong safety knowledge. Lodging may be available if the site is distant. Prevailing wages and benefits are included.

Competenze

• 4 years of hands-on carpentry experience in framing or formwork.
• Proficiency with standard trade power tools and measuring/cutting equipment.
• Knowledge of heavy civil construction safety protocols.

Mansioni

• Measure, cut, assemble and construct wooden/formwork for large poured concrete structures.
• Build framing systems, bridge forms and containment structures with high precision.
• Collaborate daily with the Superintendent and Carpenter Foreman on advanced heavy civil methods.
• Operate hand and power carpentry tools safely and maintain a clean work area.
