Job summary

The Middlesex Corporation is seeking a Carpenter to construct and assemble concrete forming systems for forming concrete structures at our Fort Myers, FL sites.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, erecting scaffolding, using power tools, and maintaining safety standards on all assignments. A minimum of 3 years in bridge-related work and strong teamwork are expected to support our infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in bridge work.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience with assembly/disassembly of heavy form systems.
• Knowledge of concrete pumps, concrete placement/finishing, rebar installation is a plus.
• Prior rigging knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Comply with Safety policies and procedures and report incidents.
• Constructs, erects, installs, and repairs structures, scaffolding and framework using hand and power tools.
• Interprets blueprints to determine dimensions and material requirements.
• Use and maintain power equipment as required by the job.
• Follow safety policies, ensure proper scaffolding and equipment is in place.
• Secure and store all tools and materials at end of day.
