This full-time position is ideal for professionals who understand the positioning of concrete forms and how forms should be installed to create a successful concrete project.. As a key contributor to residential, commercial, and industrial, you'll be responsible for forming projects and ensuring proper elevations are met. Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

  • Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to plan layout and procedures.
  • Install and dismantle concrete forms, including footings, foundations, walls, and slabs.
  • Place and tie rebar and as required by project specs.
  • Set formwork to correct elevation and alignment, ensuring accurate dimensions.
  • Maintain and inspect carpentry tools and equipment for proper use and safety.
  • Assist with general labor or equipment tasks when needed.
  • Follow all safety protocols and project specifications with diligence.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of concrete carpentry or formwork experience in a construction setting.
  • Strong understanding of carpentry principles as they relate to concrete forming.
  • Ability to work from blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
  • Valid driver's license
  • Pouring and Finishing concrete is a plus

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

  • Proficient in using hand tools, saws, drills, levels, and laser layout systems.
  • Skilled in forming techniques including wood, steel, and modular systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure work meets high-quality standards.
  • Capable of working independently or collaboratively in outdoor environments.
  • Physically able to lift 50+ lbs, bend, kneel, and stand for long periods.
  • Comfortable working in all weather conditions.

Physical Demands

  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Frequent squatting, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable working in all weather conditions (sun, rain, wind, heat, cold).
