Job summary

Fluor Constructors is hiring for a concrete formworker responsible for building, aligning, and finishing concrete forms and chutes. You will read drawings, measure and cut materials, and assemble forms for pours at construction sites in Austin, TX.

The role requires knowledge of rigging, basic knot tying, crane signals, and strong safety practices to protect personnel and ensure quality workmanship on projects.

Qualifications

• Must follow safety standards and best practices for rigging.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and plans.
• Knowledge of craft-related mathematics and measurement techniques.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings and construction plans.
• Measure, cut, and assemble wood and metal forms for concrete pours.
• Construct forms and chutes for pouring concrete and ensure proper alignment.
• Pour, finish, and demold concrete within forms after cure time.
• Dismantle forms following QC checks or DOT directions.
