Job summary

Trillium Staffing seeks an experienced Working Concrete Foreman to lead hands-on concrete construction on industrial projects traveling across the United States. The role requires strong blueprint reading, crew supervision, and active hands-on work.

Expect a rotating schedule and tight project deadlines with safety as a priority. The ideal candidate has OSHA 30, proven supervisory skills, and the ability to coordinate crews, materials, and equipment across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Experience as Concrete Foreman / Working Foreman on industrial projects.
• Demonstrated supervisory experience leading construction crews.
• Ability to read and interpret industrial concrete blueprints and drawings.
• OSHA 30 certification required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead concrete crews on industrial projects.
• Perform hands-on concrete construction and finishing work as needed.
• Read and interpret industrial concrete blueprints, plans, and specifications.
• Coordinate daily activities, manpower, materials, and equipment.
• Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and per project specs.
• Monitor quality of concrete work including foundations, slabs, pads, and equipment foundations.
• Coordinate with project management, other trades, and site supervision.
• Communicate project progress and manpower needs to management.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
• Ensure crew follows OSHA and project safety requirements.
• Assist with scheduling upcoming work activities.
• Use basic computer systems for documentation, communication, timekeeping, and reporting.

Job description

We are seeking experienced Working Concrete Foremen to lead and perform hands-on concrete construction work on industrial projects traveling throughout the United States!

The ideal candidate will have strong experience reading industrial concrete blueprints, supervising concrete crews, and performing hands-on concrete construction activities.

This is a hands-on leadership position requiring the ability to effectively supervise crews while actively participating in the work. Work can take place across the US.

Job Details

• Pay: $45 per hour
• Schedule: Approximately 60 hours per week
• Project Duration: 6 months, with potential for direct hire
• Rotation: 28 days on (excluding Sundays), followed by 8 days off

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead concrete crews on industrial construction projects.
• Perform hands-on concrete construction and finishing work as needed.
• Read, interpret, and work from industrial concrete blueprints, plans, and specifications.
• Coordinate daily activities, manpower, materials, and equipment.
• Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications.
• Monitor quality of concrete work, including foundations, slabs, pads, equipment foundations, and related structures.
• Coordinate with project management, other trades, and site supervision.
• Communicate project progress, manpower needs, and potential issues to management.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
• Ensure crew members follow OSHA and project-specific safety requirements.
• Assist with scheduling and coordinating upcoming work activities.
• Use basic computer systems for project documentation, communication, timekeeping, and reporting.
• Perform other duties associated with the successful completion of the project.

Travel & Per Diem

• Lodging provided with a private room.
• $350 weekly per diem for traveling employees.
• Flights to and from the project will be booked on behalf of employee, with transportation provided from the airport.
• Additional travel support provided as applicable.
• Gas allowance available.

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Concrete Foreman / Working Foreman,
• Demonstrated supervisory experience leading construction crews.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of industrial concrete construction.
• Ability to read and understand industrial concrete blueprints and construction drawings.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work approximately 60 hours per week on a demanding project schedule.
• Ability to travel and work on a rotational schedule.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience on electrical substation projects.
• Previous experience with BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) projects.
• Industrial or heavy commercial construction experience.
• Experience with equipment foundations, concrete pads, slabs, foundations, and other industrial concrete structures.
