Aerotek in Caledonia, MI is seeking a Concrete Foreman / Concrete Finisher to lead a crew through flatwork, curbs, driveways, sidewalks, walls and foundations. The role is hands-on, outdoors, and requires real-world finishing skills and adherence to safety standards.

You will set forms, place and finish concrete, tie rebar, monitor quality and coordinate daily tasks across projects within about an hour of travel. This contract-to-hire position offers a competitive hourly rate and benefits.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience in commercial concrete construction.

Responsibilities

Lead and work with a crew to complete concrete projects such as flatwork, curbs, driveways, sidewalks, walls, and foundations.
Set up and install concrete forms according to project specifications and drawings.
Place, spread, screed, and finish concrete using hand tools and power trowels to achieve the required surface and tolerances.
Install and tie rebar and other reinforcement materials as required for structural concrete work.
Monitor concrete placement, finishing, and curing to ensure quality, durability, and adherence to project standards.
Perform repairs and patching on existing concrete structures as needed.
Ensure all work areas remain clean, organized, and safe throughout each project.
Follow and enforce safety procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment.
Coordinate daily tasks, follow directions from leadership, and communicate effectively with team members.
Arrive on time, ready to work at designated start times, and adapt to varying end times based on project needs.
Travel to local job sites, typically within about an hour, and support multiple projects as assigned.

Work Environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Caledonia, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $30.00/hr.
