Job summary

A leading construction firm in Kaukauna is seeking a Concrete Flatwork Craftsman to join their team. Responsibilities include setting forms, grading, and finishing concrete for various surfaces. Ideal candidates must demonstrate integrity, teamwork, and the ability to operate construction equipment. The position offers an hourly wage with attractive benefits including PTO, a retirement plan, and an annual bonus. Candidates should be prepared for physical labor and outdoor work in various weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic math skills.
• Read and interpret blueprints (Preferred).
• Ability to travel within Wisconsin (Home every weekend).
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods.
• Ability to lift 0‑80lbs from ground to waist level.

Responsibilities

• Set concrete flatwork forms and grade concrete.
• Finish interior and exterior concrete surfaces.
• Operate small construction equipment and hand tools.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Position Requirements

Setting concrete flatwork forms, grading, and finishing interior and exterior concrete for interior floors, sidewalks, free stall barns, and exterior slabs

Ability to operate concrete finishing equipment (preferred)

Operate skid loaders, forklifts, and other small construction equipment

Operate hand tools and equipment

Detailed workmanship and ownership mentality

Efficiently work in a fast paced environment

Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements include but not limited to: Knowledge of basic math skills, Read and interpret blueprints (Preferred), Ability to travel typically within the state of WI (Home every weekend), Ability to walk, and stand for long periods of time while performing physical labor, Ability to lift heavy objects (0‑80lbs from ground to waist level, 0‑50lbs from ground to shoulder level), Ability to work outdoors in variable weather conditions, Ability to obtain a CDL.
