Job summary

LaRiviere, Inc. is seeking experienced concrete finishers and general laborers to form and finish curb, sidewalk, and slabs. Some bridge and structural work may be required. Most jobs are local to the Boise/Caldwell Idaho region with some regional travel.

Qualifications

• Able to stand for long periods and access ground level surfaces.
• Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Knowledge of materials commonly used in concrete projects
• Able to move heavy materials and tools safely
• Familiar with PPE and construction safety standards
• Able to use common concrete tools (trowels, screeds, floats, mixers, saws)
• Understanding of concrete curing and how enviro conditions affect it
• Ability to read blueprints and construction specs
• Basic arithmetic for measurements
• Maintain clean and safe job site

Responsibilities

• Form and finish curb, sidewalk, and slabs.
• Assist with bridge and structural work as required.
• Maintain project safety and clean worksite.
• Follow supervisor instructions and project specs.

Looking for experienced concrete finishers and general laborers. Duties will be forming and finishing curb, sidewalk, and slabs. Some bridge and structural work as well. Pay is depending on experience and work history.

Most jobs are local in the Boise/Caldwell Idaho region. Some regional travel may be required dependent on projects.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Ability to stand for long periods of time and the ability to access ground level surfaces
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Knowledge of materials commonly used in concrete projects
• Ability to move heavy materials and tools from one location to another
• Familiarity with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and construction safety standards
• Ability to use common tools, such as trowels, screeds, floats, mixers and saws
• Understanding of how concrete cures and how environmental conditions may impact the process
• Analytical skills to interpret blueprints and construction specifications
• Basic arithmetic skills to perform measurements
• Maintain a clean and safe job site
