Vertical Earth, Inc. is seeking a skilled concrete finisher to support civil and transportation projects. You will smooth and finish concrete, set forms, and ensure alignment and elevation per specs, working outdoors in varying weather.

Requirements include a minimum of 2 years in concrete finishing, experience with screeding, floating and troweling, and the ability to lift 50+ lbs. OSHA 10/30 certification is a plus; valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.

Competenze

• Minimum 2 years of concrete finishing experience.
• Experience setting forms and preparing for concrete placement.
• Experience screeding, floating, troweling, and finishing concrete.
• Ability to use hand and power concrete finishing tools.
• Familiarity with DOT specifications and transportation concrete work is a plus.
• Ability to read construction plans or technical drawings is a plus.

Mansioni

• Smooth and finish freshly poured concrete using hand and power tools.
• Spread, level, screed, and shape concrete to required elevations and specifications.
• Set and strip forms for concrete placement.
• Perform flatwork, including slabs, sidewalks, curbs, and similar concrete structures.
• Operate finishing tools such as floats, trowels, bull floats, straightedges, and power trowels.
• Check forms and surfaces for proper alignment and elevation before concrete placement.
• Apply hardening, sealing, and curing compounds as required.
• Monitor the concrete curing and finishing process.
• Identify and repair defects or imperfections in finished concrete.
• Assist with concrete placement and other crew activities as needed.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area.
• Follow company safety procedures and project quality requirements.
