Job summary

AtWork Group in Forest Park, GA is seeking an experienced concrete finisher to prepare areas for concrete placement and assist with pouring, spreading, leveling, smoothing and finishing.

Candidates should have concrete finishing experience, knowledge of finishing tools, and the ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work with a strong safety mindset. A PLUS: OSHA 30 and blueprint reading experience is not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare areas for concrete placement
• Assist with pouring, spreading, leveling, smoothing, and finishing concrete
• Use screeds, floats, trowels, edging tools, and other hand/power tools
• Form edges and joints
• Patch or repair concrete surfaces
• Assist with forms and site preparation
• Read basic plans/specifications as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe work area

Experience: Construction/concrete finishing experience required

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare areas for concrete placement
• assist with pouring, spreading, leveling, smoothing, and finishing concrete
• use screeds, floats, trowels, edging tools, and other hand/power tools
• form edges and joints
• patch or repair concrete surfaces
• assist with forms and site preparation
• read basic plans/specifications as needed
• and maintain a clean, safe work area.

Qualifications:

• Previous concrete finishing/construction experience
• knowledge of finishing tools and techniques
• ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work
• dependable transportation and attendance
• and a strong safety mindset.

A PLUS — NOT REQUIRED:

• OSHA 30
• blueprint reading experience
• and additional commercial construction experience.
