Description

Team Fishel, the Best Choice for Utility Construction and Network Installation, is seeking great Concrete Finishers for utility work for our Manassas, VA office. This skilled labor position supports our utility construction crews with new installations of site poles, transformer pads, and hard surface restoration.

Responsibilities

1. Set the forms that hold concrete to the desired pitch and depth and align them.
2. Check the forms that hold the concrete to see that they are properly constructed.
3. Spread, level, and smooth concrete, using rake, shovel, hand or power trowel, hand or power screed, and float.
4. Work as a part of a crew.
5. Handle physically demanding construction duties.
6. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements & Qualifications

1. Must be able to follow instructions.
2. Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, dig, and reach.
3. Must be able to lift, carry, and place heavy objects.
4. Valid driver's license required with clean driving record for the last 3 years.
5. Must have experience with construction power tools.
6. OQ qualified and bilingual experience is a plus.
