Job summary

AIS Infrastructure Group seeks a Concrete Finisher to ensure proper placement, leveling, finishing, and curing of concrete for large structures, while following safety standards and site protocols.

Work with foremen and carpenters, operate screeds, floats, and trowels, read plans, and meet strict finish and curing requirements. DOT experience is a plus; long-term opportunities exist in the Atlanta market.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in heavy civil, roadway, or structural concrete construction.
• At least 3 years of experience with concrete finishing.
• Ability to read, interpret, and execute plans, specifications, and layout with direction from Foremen and Superintendents.
• Reliable transportation and ability to work on active construction sites.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and jobsite instructions.

Responsibilities

• Place, level, and finish concrete surfaces.
• Operate finishing tools including screeds, floats, and trowels.
• Ensure proper curing and surface finish standards.
• Work closely with the foreman and carpenters during placement operations.
