Job summary

Sanders Brothers Construction Company, Inc. is seeking a Concrete Finisher to support concrete projects in the Charleston, SC area. Responsibilities include forming, finishing and detailing curb, gutter and sidewalks with emphasis on quality and safety.

Ideal candidates have 0–1 years of experience with concrete, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and willingness to work in various weather conditions while adhering to SBCC policies and safety rules.

Qualifications

• Experience with concrete curb, gutter and sidewalk finishing preferred.
• Ability to read and understand forms and measurements.
• Must follow safety rules and wear PPE including hard hat, safety glasses, ear protection and gloves.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, align and set horizontal concrete forms.
• Finish concrete surfaces including curbs, sidewalks and ramps.
• Use saws to cut expansion joints or remove concrete.
• Coordinate with team to pour and finish concrete.
• Work weekends or overtime as needed and handle varying weather conditions.
