Job summary

Granite Construction Incorporated is seeking a concrete finisher to safely smooth and finish surfaces of poured concrete at various sites. You will use hand and power tools to meet quality specs, work with forms, joints, and edging, and support patching and repairs as needed.

The role requires ability to work outdoors in all weather, 1–2 years of experience, and adherence to safety standards. High school diploma or GED preferred, with potential for varied shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent years of experience.
• Appropriate training and experience required.
• 1–2 years of concrete finishing experience preferred.
• Experience with concrete curb machine preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pour, spread, tamp, level and finish concrete to specs.
• Operate finishing equipment including trowels and floats.
• Mold expansion joints and edges using edging tools.
• Patch horizontal and vertical concrete.
• Construct and assemble concrete forms and frames.
• May assist subgrade work and mixing of concrete.
• May break up and repair old concrete surfaces.
• Work shifts including day, swing, and night as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and wear harness when required.
