Cleland Site Prep is seeking a Concrete Finisher to apply concrete on roads, paved surfaces, and access ways using hand and power tools. This role supports the Low Country market with a long-standing team and CRH benefits, including healthcare and paid holidays.

Qualities like physical stamina, outdoor adaptability, and teamwork are essential as you assist with curb, gutter, drainage, finishing, and site prep under foreman direction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Background in concrete finishing and general concrete construction.
• Initiative to learn to operate equipment required on a concrete construction crew.

Responsibilities

• Assist with curb/gutters/drainage and help spread concrete per direction from foreman or co-workers.
• Assist construction/concrete crew with various duties such as shoveling, finishing, flagging and running a wheelbarrow.
• Dig, spread and level construction materials as needed.
• Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task.
• Properly follow all company policies and OSHA/MSHA regulations for safe working procedures and environment.
• Always maintaining courteous and professional manner with co-workers, customers and public.
