Job summary

Gregory Construction in Springfield, IL is seeking reliable construction support staff to join a boots-on-the-ground team. Assist with placing, finishing, and curing concrete, use hand and power tools, and help prepare job sites.

Responsibilities

• Assist with placing, finishing, and curing concrete.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and finishing equipment.
• Help prep job sites, including form cleaning, staging materials, and cleanup.
• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment from trucks.
• Support finishers, carpenters, and other crew members as needed.
• Keep the job site clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow all safety rules and report issues to foreman.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Assist with placing, finishing, and curing concrete
• Use hand tools, power tools, and finishing equipment as needed
• Help prep job sites, including form cleaning, staging materials, and cleanup
• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment from trucks
• Support finishers, carpenters, and other crew members as needed
• Keep the job site clean, organized, and safe
• Follow all safety rules and speak up if something isn’t right
• Report any safety issues, incidents, or quality concerns to your foreman
