Job summary

MODULE X SOLUTIONS LLC is seeking a concrete finisher to ensure concrete on job sites meets required depth and finish. You will cast, spread, and finish surfaces, align patterns, and prepare forms to achieve precise tolerances.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of finish experience, can read a tape measure, and demonstrate attention to detail in a fast-paced fabrication environment. This full-time role is based in Shreveport, LA, with opportunities for growth and advancement.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Concrete Finishing experience.
• Highschool Diploma / GED or Equivalent.
• Proficient with hand and power tools.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Knowledge of hand-held and power tools including vibrators, polishers, cutting saws, and edging tools.

Responsibilities

• Cast and spread concrete to patch voids.
• Finish concrete surfaces with patterns per project.
• Remove edges on expansion joints and sides.
• Place forms to ensure depth and pitch.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

JOB SUMMARY

Concrete finishers make sure the concrete used on job sites is the desired pith, required form and depth.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Casting and spreading concrete to patch voids
• Finishing concrete surfaces with rough or smooth patterns depending on projects preference
• Removing edges on expansion joints and sides
• Placing forms that hold concrete to ensure the required depth and pitch is achieved
• Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Work Experience

• 1 year of Concrete Finishing experience

Education

• Highschool Diploma / GED or Equivalent

Related Experience

• Proficient with hand and power tools
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks; keep up in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
• Ability to stand for long periods of time

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee sometimes works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to excessive noise, extreme heat, extreme cold, and heights. When participating in activities on the shop floor, the noise level in the work environment is typical for a fabrication shop and ear plugs may be used as necessary.
